Founder & CEO — Dr. Kiril Pandelisev
Dr. Pandelisev was educated at ASU and the University of Cyril and Methodius in Skopje, now capital of the Republic of Macedonia. His work on Solid State Devices and Auger Electron Spectroscopy at ASU, as a Fulbright Scholar, resulted in his Doctor of Science in Physics degree in 1984, with Prof. Edward Wang from ASU as his Doctoral Thesis advisor.
Right after getting his doctorate he spent 3 years as a post-doctoral researcher at ASU where he entered the field of Artificial Intelligence for crystal growth of Gallium Arsenide crystals under a DARPA contract — part of President Reagan’s Star Wars project.
Following his fellowship at ASU he joined Johnson Matthey Electronics in Spokane and Trail, BC, within a Canadian Government & USAF project on Gallium Arsenide. After two years and project closure he returned to Arizona and served as Senior Research Scientist for Horiba Instruments from Japan.
In 1992 he started his first businesses for scintillation and optical crystals for medical imaging applications, optics for semiconductor chip processing, laser applications and similar. He has contributed more than 40 articles to scientific and technical journals and proceedings and now holds more than 100 patents granted or pending in the USA and abroad.
He was awarded a patent for a medical device that combines laser, RF pulsed field and RF current for pain management and wound treatment — the first of many patents that form the basis for the H-Pad and a whole family of medical devices for pain management and wound treatment.
